Help! One of my accounts has vanished from online banking. Any ideas what could have happened to it? What do banks do when they close them? Would they close only one or all of them? ARGH!!!

It was there on Saturday. I've just checked and it's gone! I'm 1p under the overdraft limit, I can't understand where it's gone. Am I going to get a nasty letter in the post? Wouldn't they close all of my accounts, not just one?

It may just be offline - call them tomorrow. It is unlikely to have gone anywhere!

It's nice considering I owe them 3K, as the overdraft has vanished. I'm just really worried.

All the rest are there. Why would they take one offline and leave the rest?

It may be they have temporarily disabled it while they review it. Call them in the morning and ask them and STOP WORRYING nothing has changed - you are still overdrawn, it doesn't change that - but it doesn't mean they are going to come round your house with a big stick either!

Oh dear. I've been over my limit a few times since October because I was late being paid and they have increased my overdraft alot. I leave the house at 7:45 and am not back until 7 so won't be able to call them. I think I'll just get an evil letter in the post. I'll pay them £50 a month if they do this!

Can you call them now? I'm pretty sure my bank is contactable all the time.

I've tried. She can't access it because I don't have telephone banking and the people she wanted to put me through left at 8. Bugger!
