We took out a contract with Sky - and then changed out mind and cancelled immediately, might even have been the same day, by telephone. Unfortunately, I didn't check my bank account (I have a separate one for direct debits) and they still took three payments out. We rang them, and they acknowledged that they were wrong and said they would refund.
Nothing arrived. I rang the bank, who said we could claim under the dd guarantee. So we did.
Then Sky wrote to us again, saying the dd had been cancelled and could we set another one up to ensure our viewing was not stopped!
We've now had a bill today for them - I'd write but there's no return address on the letter.
