Sky - just HOW can I communicate with them so that they listen?!

We took out a contract with Sky - and then changed out mind and cancelled immediately, might even have been the same day, by telephone. Unfortunately, I didn't check my bank account (I have a separate one for direct debits) and they still took three payments out. We rang them, and they acknowledged that they were wrong and said they would refund.

Nothing arrived. I rang the bank, who said we could claim under the dd guarantee. So we did.

Then Sky wrote to us again, saying the dd had been cancelled and could we set another one up to ensure our viewing was not stopped!

We've now had a bill today for them - I'd write but there's no return address on the letter.

Any suggestions?

this will go on for a while then when you finally get it sorted you will get post every month asking you to join them as they miss you

Do put everything in writing as telephone messages don't seem to have any effect, even when the chappy said "Right I have sorted this for you, you wont be bothered again"

As you can probably tell I am and EX-sky customer!

Yes, Mrs Weasley, we're already started getting the "come back and get 6m free"...even though they can't decide whether our account has been cancelled or not!

I used to work for sky in the customer care team/ customer relations now lol

Best to write to them at the Livingston address, oh and send it recorded delivery as this way it has to be actioned in 10 days
