Child benefit and tax credit payments over Easter

My child benefit payment is due on easter monday and my tax credits on the tuesday, are they likly to be paid to me earlier does anyone know ??

They should be paid this week Nutty-if they go into your bank they will probably go in on Thursday. Post office should cash books this week as well.

That's good news. Our council tax has gone up, but my wages haven't in 2 years.

WEll in theory you will get them before rather than after but our housing benefit is due on the bank holiday monday but wont go in till tuesday!
Ahhhh ive got to let you know also that its actually illegal for the bank to take any benefits out of your account to pay charges of any kind!ie returned Direct debits,cheques etc etc.
PLEASE EVERYONE CHECK OUT WWW.BANKCHARGESHELL.CO.UK its not going to cost you anything and you will be rather happy with the info as it means you will get all your bank charges back from the bank from the last 6 years plus 8% interest on the total.:-)
