Lost my child trust fund voucher

I cant find it anywhere, think i might of accidently put it in the bin, and dh would have burnt the rubbish, Have I lost it or is there something I can do, stupid I know.

phone inland revenue for advice. you wont lose it comepletly as if u dont op4emn an account before a certain date the inland rev will open one for you.

That sounds reassuring, I haven't told dh yet, but maybe it's not quite as bad as it seemed. Thankyou
