who is offering the cheapest rate for a £9000 loan just now?

would be repaid over 2-3 years if that makes any diffrence!

Try Moneybackbank. They belong to Alliance and Leicester. Not sure if they are the cheapest right now but they are very competitive and can get the money to you quickly, especially if you are an A and L customer. Just checked their website and typical APR is 7.8%, which seems ok.

is there any info on Martin Lewis' Money Expert site. He usually has lots of comparisons (for all sorts of things).
