does the £50k guaranteed savings include isa's? anyone know?

does anyone know if the £50k savings guaranteed by the govnt at one bank include cash isa's held at the same bank?

As far as I know, the answer is yes.

and it's not 50k yet, that's only a plan. It's 35k at the moment.

thanks hth... to clarify £35k savings is guaranteed and anything above including isa's wouldn't be guaranteed at the same bank?

on the bbc news this morning, £35k per person per bank (not account)....
