if we pay for chilcare and do the voucher thing does tht have an impact on tax credit system?

Although you earn less (because you have sacrificed some of your salary) you pay less childcare (because the voucher pays for it)

it only makes a difference if you get currently get a contribution from CTC (ie the childcare element) towards you childcare costs.

We don't qualify for help towards our childcare costs so it's best for us to use the salary sacrifice scheme.

If you do get the childcare element of CTC then it's best not to use the salary sacrifice scheme.
