Ive been trying to get onto online courier sites but i dont know the weights of the items (am buying off ebay) and they need to travel 90-100 miles to my house.
Its all solid oak furniture so v heavy i guess!

Any idea what sort of quote i'd be looking at?

We pais £120 for a dining table, sideboard, and 10 chairs from Scotland to Dorset, the seller used a brilliant company in Yorkshire.

I paid £75 to have a (very heavy) bed delivered from Sussex to Herts.

Do you know, I can't remember. It was arranged by the furniture store but was a courier service rather than one of their drivers, if that makes sense. If the name comes back to me I will report back. They were based in East Sussex.

Sorry, that doesn't help at all.
