Myself and my ex are just waiting to move out of out joint house we have sold.
As he has paid all of the mortgage and bills since we split in April 2025 (due to not having the money to contribute) I have agreed to give him an addition 10k out of the equity to cover my share that I owe him. Will UC see this as deprivation of capital? How could I prove he has paid everything and I owe him the money? I will have around 4k left once all the moving costs, solicitors and agent fees are paid as 50k has gone on a deposit for new house.
Any advice would be very much appreciated
