Is it a bad time to speculate?

Are the people who speculate at times like this visionarys or pratts?

How do you know what is right?

Put it this way, if you're starting up an an insolvency practitioner/housing repossession lawyer/specialist in converting cars to lpg, this is a good time.

It depends on what business you're goign into doesn't it. Niche luxurt goods aimed at the middle classes - no. Niche luxury goods aimed at the super-rich - still holding as a market.

Childcare is particularly bouyant though as more parents have to go out to work to make ends meet. Apparently nanny agencies have never had it so good (according to the Times anyway).

Really - I'm really worried about unemployment causeing people not to need childcare

We have never had so few children as we have now
