According to my national insurance record, I only need to contribute one more year for a full pension.
What's confusing me is that it shows me as having a full year in 1992-93, 93-94 and 94-95. When I click through it says "You have contributions from
National Insurance credits: 52 weeks These may have been added to your record if you were ill/disabled, unemployed, caring for someone full-time or on jury service."
I wasn't any of these things- I was doing my A levels. Also had a Saturday job. I left school in 1994 and did a gap year (mainly working).
Do you get a credit for being in education?
