I feel very peeved - I can't fix it - but I think it is very unfair

DH pays healthshield (which is a bit like HSA) - he has done for years (long before I was around)

It had reflexology as a benefit - & we got a lot of money towards reflexology

We suddenly got a letter saying we had received all of this years allowance for Reflexology.

So I go on the website & the category it was in is still the same amount - but there was a new category which they had moved R/F into with less than half the allowance.

We have had R/F paid for by them for over 3 yrs now & I think it was a bit mean to reclassify it without specifically mentioning/informing us that it was reclsssified

I will ring & say how disappointed we are - but they will just say it's in the small print

I got a very short reply
"In November 2007 we sent you a mailer & membership plan showing the benefit changes for 2008.

A new Health & Wellbeing benefit was introduced which reflexology is now covered under. This used to be included in the Physiotherapy ect benefit."

Which tbh I thought a bit pointless

Entirely trivial m'dear.

In fact rather that you have the time and mental and emotional energy to be able to be bothered over this.

KatyMac · 26/06/2008 13:30

Well it's worth over £700 a year so I am upset

Which is 25(+) session of reflexology

are you likely to use 25 (+) sessions of relexology? Don't you have more important things to worry about?

KatyMac · 26/06/2008 14:10

Well actually yes

I have weekly reflexology for several chronic conditions to keep them under control

I have been claiming for them for over 5 yrs - I am very upset
