Lease a car as a SAHM

Hi All

I’m looking to lease a car but I’m currently a SAHM so the finance will be in my husbands name but we’d like the car in my name as I’ll be the main driver and I’d like to use my no claims for the insurance.

Has anyone found a good lease company that allow you to do this as they mostly seem to
like the finance and ownership in the same name?

thanks!

When you lease you don’t own the car so he won’t be the ‘owner’ So husband gets the finance in his name, you insure the car in your name. You have to say it’s owned by a leasing company anyway when doing the insurance. Doesn’t matter whose name the finance is in

are you sure you want to lease?

say it’s a three year deal at £300 per month. thats £10k. and then you have to give the car back.

would you not be better buying a car at £8k or somethimg that you get to keep it?

Get a loan it’s a much better option.
