Has anyone tried female invest?

We have just received an inheritance. Dh is unable to work so we would really like to invest it wisely. I know nothing about investments other than sticking a few grand in an isa.

I keep on seeing adverts for female invest - has anyone tried them and is it worth it?

I’ve not come across them myself - from a quick look they seem very American (but perhaps you are too?). The pink branding totally puts me off personally!

I was in a similar position a few years back and found the Meaningful Money podcast and YouTube videos (and now a book) very helpful - I’d start with that. I ended up opening a Vanguard ISA and flowing the money into that over the next few years.

OP look at Rebel Finance, it’s very very good. Takes a bit of time to go through but you could just jump to the investing weeks and then go back and do the whole thing. Otherwise Money to the Masses is also good.

If you haven’t yet used thus years ISA allowance if £20k then open a cash ISA in Trading 212 and stick it in there before beginning of April. You can then invest it afterwards or move it if you are going to use a different platform. Remember to always transfer ISA money or you’ll lose the tax free status for that year.

Just looked at them and confirmed it was the Sara Davies ads all over my social media. Having had a quick look I do think you can get all of that from Rebel Finance for free.

Thank you! I will look at rebel finance as a start
