Car parking tickets - Euro Car Parks

I have really messed up and just received 7 tickets and probably at least 3 more on the way.
I park at my local council run country park nearly every day to walk my dog. The car park is run by Euro Car Parks with a camera system. For the last few years I have purchased an annual season permit, but this time completely forgot that it expired on 02/01. The tickets were issued in my husbands name and so I have been online to change them to my name. I am in a complete panic about paying them, they are £40 if paid straight away and goes up to 70. I don't work and my DH has just lost the contract he was working on and is obviously furious about this. I have searched my emails for a reminder from Kent County Council who run the park, but can't find anything. I have e emailed the Council to ask for help, I asked if I could back date the permit, but they have said no and they won't help.
I just wanted to ask if anyone has any experience of getting fines reduced or written off. It was a genuine mistake and I have renewed my permit now.

I don’t see what mitigating circumstances you’d have to have it cancelled. For the sake of 40 quid it’s easier to pay it

She presumably means multiply lots of 40
pounds! Appeal all of them explaining your circumstances. Get the new annual ticket up and running. Attach proof of all your former years of payment. Offer to pay for one for a genuine mistake in your appeal itself but not for multiple ones? Explain your job loss in your family and how much you value the park etc

I don't think the fact you've now purchased a season ticket will negate the tickets. Unfortunately you parked in the car park without paying. It's an expensive mistake but I can't see any reason they would agree to reduce or cancel the tickets. I appreciate it seems unfair but I would just be thinking how exceedingly fortunate it is you didn't have a fine for every day you parked there.

It's euro car parks. They rarely go to court ignore and cross your fingers. Its a private company not the council .

Also look for the group on Money Saving Experts and Facebook on Private Car Parking fines.

Yes it's multiple tickets. By the time my husband opened them yesterday a couple were already 70 pounds. Not sure if it resets it as I changed it to my name online yesterday. 7 tickets so far, but thinking about it could be a whole lot more on the way. Thanks for the replies.
