Got £20k to invest

So I've got £20k, I want to invest it and make it work for me a bit. Mid term goals (5 years ish), but sticking point is I can't do ISAs as I'm not in the UK.

What would you do?

Best bet is to find out what your local options are then - are you abroad long term?

I live on the IOM, I'll look into a FA here but was just trying to see what people generally would do. I've never invested anything before

Check out Facebook group, Rebel school of Finance, I have joined but watching, apparently you can learn how to do your own investments without paying for a FA

Because nothing screams safe like financial advice from random people on facebook 🤣.

I would say a good starting point is the Martin lLewis website.

I have heard of Rebel school of finance, they have a Youtube channel and apparently offer great advice. Thanks I'll check them out

The couple that run it retired at 35 and 40 and offer some really sound advice (along with evidence ) about index funds and tax efficiencies etc.

Think they have British Empire Medals for their services
