"Easy wins" to make extra cash for January?

I was paid early on December 21st, so next payday feels like a loooong way off. I’ve set myself a little challenge to earn an extra £120 (enough to cover the food bill for the last two weeks) without losing my sanity or turning the heating off completely.

I saw on reddit people talking about "Easy Wins". Five things you can do this week to help, rather than nice ideas that never quite happen. So here’s my list.

Please do add your own - I need all the help I can get!

  1. Return anything we didn't use/gift or need.
  2. Organise clothes into bundles and list the kids outgrown gear on Vinted.
  3. Check survey/cashback sites for forgotten balances
  4. Do more surveys (Prolific/Branded Surveys/Microsoft rewards)

(Have added my refrral link for Microsoft Rewards, just in case anyone fancies joining - You get an extra 1300 points if you use my link ;)

  1. Try to sell some books via 'We buy books' or someplace similar.

Ooh and cancel some Amazon subscriptions and maybe one of the TV ones...

Join Microsoft Rewards through your friend's link and start earning!

Hey! I've been earning amazing rewards with Microsoft Rewards, and you can join too!

It's worth considering moving your current account, lots of banks will pay for you to join them. I think Nationwide has a £175 bonus for moving at the moment (although they likely won't pay this until you've been with them for three months or something so its not immediate).
