Worried about new UC claim

Finally caved last week and applied for UC. The claim is processing and I received the advance . So far so good. I realised last night I completely forgot to declare a stocks and shares isa under savings and investments. It has a very insignificant amount in it, (£180) and I know the amount shouldn’t change much, but I’m panicking now they’ll think I was being deceitful as I didn’t report it straight away and they will think I’m hiding money. I have reported it in change of circumstances and left a note on my journal explaining, it was a genuine error on my part but now I’m worried it will affect my claim. Anyone any ideas of what will happen or will they just be happy I’ve recorded it now and change the amount of my claim accordingly? Thanks and replies appreciated

I think they'll just add it on. I wouldn't worry about it op

They won't deduct anything if that is the only savings she has.

They're pretty understanding of honest mistakes and it's not as if £180 makes a difference unless it tips you over the £6k or £16k limit.

Thank you. Was just worried they would think I was trying to hide an account but hopefully will be ok since I’ve reported it before claim has been decided so they can make any deductions necessary

You're fine - no one will think anything either way. They're dealing with so many claims. All the staff want to do is get you sorted on your new claim and check what you're doing to try to increase your earnings (unless you're in a group that doesn't need to increase their earnings)
