Credit card issue

DH and I have a shared card. He is the “primary” name on the account. This means only he can see on the app how much has been spent on it. Does anyone know of any cards where both have access on the banks app to the spending on it?

He’s not hiding anything. I pay a portion of the bill so I like to know what that amount is.

Get your own card?

Get your own card?

That’s an option. But for stuff like holidays where we split the costs a joint one is handy.

As others have said, it’s not a thing for credit cards because there isn’t really such thing as a “joint” credit card. It’s not your card, so for them you have no need to access.

You can’t have a joint credit card as people have said. Ultimately the main cardholder is the account holder and responsible for the spending on the account. I have seen this go wrong many times as people misunderstand and think it’s joint. The authorised user can just walk away from any debt. Also if the main cardholder dies suddenly the account will be closed and the AU will be without a credit card if they don’t have one in their own name. This happened to my aunt when my uncle died suddenly. DH and I have a joint bank account but separate credit cards. They both get paid off from the joint bank account every month. DH never asks to see my spending and I never ask to see his. If we go on a joint holiday it doesn’t matter which card it goes on because they are paid off from the same source anyway.
