csa how did you manage to get anything from them

nearly every post on here i read about csa seems to be 'i only get...' 'he has stopped paying' etc. dont get me wrong am very happy that you are all getting something of your exes but why arent none of your posts 'have been trying for 4 and half years and still have f all from csa?'

when dd1 was born xp denied that she was his, csa paid for a dna test, the dna test was positive, as i knew it would be, he tried to say that it was wrong and asked for another test, csa refuesd and said that they would take first test as right unless he wanted to pay for another one, he didnt as he knows damn well that she is his.

didnt hear anything for ages. phoned up 'there is nothing on file it must have been lost, can you reapply?' reapplied.

still heard nothing. phoned up 'it is with case manager. they arent in they will call you back.' they didnt. eventually got to speak to case manager, they are waiting on more info from xp.

still didnt hear anything for ages till i got a letter from them to say that the claim had been cancelled as the other party advised to cancel. had to reapply again.

still didnt hear anything. went to mp who wrote to them. got a letter to say i have my own case managera and will be dealt with. after much calling back and forth i still havent got anywhere and tbh have given up ever getting anything.

i have not seen xp since having dd1 and he has never made any effort to see her. i am a bit concerned that him paying would give him more rights to her? i would have no problem him seeing her, she deserves to know who her family are but i ahave a dp now who is her dad and i dont want xp having more rights than him.

also xp is a prohibation officer could this be why he has managed to get away with not paying for so long, because he works for a govt dept or am i just paranoid about that?

How horrendous. have you been back to your MP to see if he can do anything else?

failing that, local paper is always a good one. You can stay anonomous, and there's nothing like a newspaper phoning up to make a government department pull their finger out.

Sorry, don't have much other practical advice, except keep at it - ex p obviously wants to get away with paying nothing, and you deserve something.

i had never thought about going to the papaer all the mp can do is write to them. they seem to aleays send me letters afterwards eg very sorry this had happened, will be dealt with swiftly etc. then i dont hear anything more.

i might phone them and tell them im going to the papers! lol

other than that i suppose i willl just have to keep trying to phone and emailing and see where i get.

thanks mrs pickles, i didnt even know there was anywhere you can complain to. every time i phone to complain they just tell me there is no one to speak to etc, i have emailed loads of complaints and get nothing back but ill try writing. and ill definately be asking about that special team.

thanks hopefully, dd1 is going out later atm she does not know that dp is not her natural father so i dont like phoning any one about it in front of her. so will try again later to try and get on that special team and will write letter of complaint too.
