Applying for carers allowance in Scotland?

Hi, I’ve just applied for carers allowance as I stay with my partner over 35 hours a week and look after him, we are both disabled and both on ADP. I Neither are earning at the moment and are on UC. I have a few questions.

i don’t want to out his disability however I am autistic, epileptic and regularly have seizures

on doing the application it never asked for photos of my partners ADP award letter. Is this normal? I thought they would ask for more proof.

i don’t earn money but I occasionally sell the odd second hand thing on Vinted and have earned around 1000 in 18 month- does that count as earning?? I ticked no

would he be able to apply for it for caring for me? He never comes to my place but as I say I stay with him

sorry for dumb questions

It should be Scottish carer supper payment you apply for, not carers allowance. They don’t need proof of qualifying benefits; they already know that information about you both based on your NI numbers. You can cross claim so long as it doesn’t contradict your ADP
