I thought I was legally covered and could claim the money back from the cc company?
Am being told on phone that no I can't

The company who sold the goods have taken the money and not sent anything, do not answer emails or phone calls

FrannyandZooey · 20/05/2008 10:19

Do you have a mailing address?

I think Trading Standards might be the first place to try?

FrannyandZooey · 20/05/2008 10:20

no address I don't think
will trawl site again, but I don't think so

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 20/05/2008 10:22

FrannyandZooey · 20/05/2008 10:23

foxythesnowfox · 20/05/2008 10:24

trading standards info

foxythesnowfox · 20/05/2008 10:26

Go on. Name and shame.

TheDuchessOfNorksBride · 20/05/2008 10:27

You can ask them for a copy of the courier details as proof they despatched it. Couldn't they reclaim from the post service they used if it's been 'lost in the post'? Because they can't charge your credit card until goods have been despatched.

Good luck.

FrannyandZooey · 20/05/2008 10:30

I'm not going to say which company foxy, it's a surprise for someone and I don't want to give away what it is

I can;t ask them for anything Duchess because they don't reply to their emails or phone calls
I'm not in a dispute with them, they have just taken my money and now are contactable

thanks for trading standards stuff

foxythesnowfox · 20/05/2008 10:32

Bugger. Nasty people.

FrannyandZooey · 20/05/2008 10:38

right have phoned trading standards who say write recorded delivery stating they are in breach of contract and ask for a refund

this is taking FAR too much of my time
