national insurance record

I am full-time employed and pay my class 1 NICs via PAYE. I've been employed by the same employer for several years. I have just checked my HMRC personal tax account and under the tax year just gone (2024-2025), it says: 'We cannot calculate your tax yet. We are still waiting for information to reach us'. When I check my national insurance record the 2024-2025 tax year, it is showing as full because of my child benefit national insurance credits, but it is not showing my national insurance contributions from my PAYE. Is it normal for there to be some delay in the HMRC updating your income tax and national insurance contribution record after the tax year has ended, or could there have been a mistake made which I need to look into?

I ask because I am keen to transfer my child benefit national insurance credits for 2024-25 to my husband who was in training last year and not paying NICs, but I'd rather not make the credits transfer until all the info on my account is correct and up to date.

It’s probably because the tax year only finished 5th April and your employer hasn’t completed the payroll year end yet.

I don't think that's a surprise, the tax year only ended a few days ago and the date for getting all of the information in hasnt passed yet.

It's only been a few days. Mine has only just shown as updated for 23-24!

Thank you all! I was just concerned it might be an oversight or mistake - I don't normally check this early. I guess it's normal then for it not yet to be showing up- to-date information for 2024-5.

@sunnysideup05 It takes months for this info to be uploaded. Personally, I check in January each year.
