Evening all

I was retired on tier 1 a few years ago. Am still in my forties and managed to return to employment last year.

Am I allowed to make contributions to a SIPP or is this pension recycling.

I have earnt £30k on top of my pension - is there a limit how much I can contribute before the end of this tax year? I want to should higher rate tax. (I’m aware I’m fortunate).

thank you.

If you get a private pension you can still make contributions of up to £10k per annum. I get Teachers Pension and still make £10k contribution each year into a SIPP.
