CICA CLAIM QUESTIONS

Hi I just wanted to ask if anyone has been through the same thing. So I was sexually assaulted and raped by my child’s father in 2018 and for years I didn’t know about cica. I reported him to the police and he was charged with 6 counts. I made a claim out of the time limit for the cica (which is 2 years from the event happening) but I was mentally not stable enough to worry about making claims or anything else for that matter. The cica assessed my claim and asked for more medical evidence which was sent to them in may 2024, after assessing the medical evidence they went back to the police for more information in October 2024. I reported that this had happened to me back in 2018 and the court date was may 2024 where he was found no guilty for 2 counts of rape 2 counts of sexual assault but was found guilty of perverting the cause of justice. There was evidence that he had done these crimes to me but not enough for no reasonable doubt. the cica didn’t contact my solicitor for over 6 months so they filed a complaint in which the cica said that they would have an update on my claim and hopefully a decision within 8 weeks. So I have some questions if anyone could shed light.

What are the chances of them paying out compensation?
Is no news good news?
If he was found no guilty even know there was evidence he did these things could they still process my claim?
