I'm currently reading The Psychology of Money which is good. Main premise seems to be desire less> spend less> save more > long term investments always pay. This is something I can get onboard with. Any other suggestions? I'm not keen on anything calculations/stats heavy as I don't have money to invest I'm not looking for a formula as such, more about things we can teach the dc.

Lurk on the UKPersonalFinance Reddit and Moneysavingexpert forums. It’s a constant drip, drip, drip of financial advice and other likeminded people looking to make sound financial decisions. It really helps it become a way of life, rather than read a book and expect things to happen overnight.

This is a great book, I read the original and it looks like it's been updated www.amazon.co.uk/Transforming-Relationship-Achieving-Financial-Independence/dp/0143115766
