when my phone rings it is usually scammers or cold callers.

Does anyone know if the number that shows up is this one which is for national insurance enquiries 0300 200 3500? I have requested the call back for filling my missing years but am going to have to remember to answer every call just in case !!
thanks

My advice would be to pick up any calls. You'll know soon enough if it's not HMRC.

You have the option to do this online - view your NI record, see any unfilled years and opt to pay ones which you are eligible to pay.

True, but you have to phone them, I gave up after 3 years of trying until I used the link from the Martin Lewis programme to request a call back.

If you put the number into 'who-called.co.uk' it says it ia associated with HMRC.
