Has anyone actually received any PCP car loan compensation?

We’ve had a good few cars on finance over the years and I’m being flooded with companies who want to ‘help me’ to claim my compensation. Just wondering if anyone’s actually made a successful claim and how long it took?

Thinking of using the tools on Martin Lewis’ website. Keeping everything crossed as a couple of grand would certainly come in handy right now…!

I think it's currently paused due to legal arguments.

However, ignore all the intermediaries who will take a big cut of any compensation due for simply asking you to fill in a form that they will pass on to the finance providers.

Keep an eye on Moneysaving Expert and use their tools and templates to get your claim in for free - it's all you need. If it's in the Resolver tool, that's excellent. We used it for an insurance issue and it worked much quicker than months of complaining to the company had and the Resolver account tracked where we were with the complaint and prompted us to chase them at the appropriate time.

Is this around the issue with undisclosed commission and lack of clarity between credit brokers and lenders?

The lenders are going to the Supreme Court over it so I think any claims for 'compo' are not getting even to first base until that's heard and decided.

I have recently put in a claim with Santander for 2x car finance through the Martin Lewis website (this was really easy).
They confirmed they did have the "DCA" attached to them but everything has been put on hold until 5th December (!!) when they will update me further!
