Carwash charged me-twice. Unauthorised payment

I took my car to the car wash yesterday and the guy try to charge me a higher price than advertised. He was telling me my car was in a higher category than it was. I looked on their company app which I have installed and entered my reg plate and it tells you what category your car is in. I showed him this and he told me that it wasn't correct and proceeded to enter some details into his iPad to show me himself. He showed me the iPad displaying the category he said it was, but it was showing the details of a different car (same make but bigger model). I told him that was the wrong car and the wrong registration and he got in a huff and let me pay the cheaper price although insisted I was wrong. I told him to feel free to put in the correct details in his ipad to check again but he refused.
I paid the money and then today look at my bank account and I have been charged for additional car wash. The receipt on my app says I came in at 5pm (I was there at 11am that day) and payment taken from the app.
I have no idea how this has happened. I'm pretty sure I haven't accidently booked a whole other car wash on the app without realising it and I have no booking confirmations in my email to say I did.
It is franchised out so the conpany website says to take it up with the manager onside but I don't feel comfortable dealing with him again.
Is it even physically possible for him to have somehow booked and paid for a car wash that didn't happen and taken an in app payment if he was pissed off with me paying a lesser price that day?
I just don't understand what's happened or how to take this forward. Would the bank help of its an unauthorised payment?

Just contact your bank and they will put a stop on the payment if you explain it was duplicated.

It wasn't even duplicated it was for a different service by the looks of it. Does that matter?

So the transaction is two different prices

Raise a dispute with your bank, you can probably click on the transaction within your app and do it from there. Just put goods/services not received.

Thank you I will do that. Just find it very strange. Can retailers take unauthorised payments just because you have card details on their app?
