Advice on representing myself in court

Hi guys. I am wondering if any has any experience or advice on representing themselves in court against their ex partner for child maintenance?

I would be using my rights stated in the Schedule One Children Act, but I feel
lost at sea with it all and can’t afford legal advice.

Is there anyone out there who is able to help me understand the process?

Thank you in advance

Have you considered doing the free consultations with various family solicitors to discuss the issue? They maybe able to give insight and/ or pointers. Obviously don't mention you will be representing yourself.
