3 years left on my help to buy but 2 years left on the mortgage, ideally want to pay the help to buy off. Bar 20% of what the property is worth what offer fees are there.

£200 quoted on help to buy

how much does a valuation and solicitors fees cost? 1200/1600 mark?

We’ve done this recently while selling our house! We got the valuation done by FPSurveying for £200 and they seem to cover a lot of the country so worth trying them, they were the cheapest by far but other quotes were £300-400. Solicitors fees I’m not sure on as we are also selling our house, but the HTB part is only down for £200 so I wouldn’t imagine it’s as much as you’ve estimated. HTH

I redeemed a Help to Buy Loan beginning of 2021 and paid £240 for the surveyor & £745 to the solicitor. Plus the HTB redemption fee of £200.

Thank you!

I’ll keep some extra saved for buffer room
