1 missed payment on Credit Card last year will it show on a credit check?

I paid it the whole balance off straight away, because they also took my 0% off me, I could have sworn it was on a direct debit but I'd just had DS. I'm just worried as we are due to re-mortage in September and I was wondering if it was just when things go to court that they affect your credit rating....does anyone know?

I don't know for certain but I don't think things show up if it hasn't been to court, and also if you have paid in full and it does show up on your credit rating you can have it removed bacuse you have paid it so no longer relevant. You can get a copy of your personal credit rating from Experian - there are other companies too I believe. Do you still have a credit card, I think that makes you more appealing if you do

HTH.

It will show as 1 month late. If that's the worst on your credit report I wouldn't have thought it would matter. I still have payments missed (by 1 month!) in 2004 on my credit report. It'll disappear next year, thank goodness. (it usually shows prev 4 years)

all late/missed payments show up on the system for credit checks. They list every month for every 'credit account' that you have as well as if paid on time, late or missed.
