Child benefit online claim

hello, I’m just wondering if anybody has recently applied for child benefit online and how long did it roughly take? Thank you 🙂

I did mine online, took nearly 4 weeks and then I got the email to say it was all sorted and payment was received 5 days later so nearly 5 weeks start to finish

Yes very recently, just received it this week :) I left it quite late to apply, my baby is 3 months old now but it was just one of those things I kept meaning to do but never got around to it

I applied for my 4 month old. Online and got a back pay of 3 months 3 days later! It was updated hours later.
Under 6 months is pretty quick
