Gift aid on bake sale?

My DD13 is fundraising for a foreign trip with her Guides Unit next year. It's a considerable cost and so they are being encouraged to fundraise as much as possible. DD held a cake sale this week which raised £40 (at her guides unit). She's got a justgiving page set up with charity status. I'll need to pay that £40 into my bank account and then transfer to her justgiving account. Am I right in thinking this won't be eligible for gift aid as it's not technically my money - it's donated? I am a tax payer myself but it's not my personal money. Seems a shame to miss out on gift aid though.
