Hi, FIL (single) is having palliative care and sadly doesn't have long left. He lives in a care home fully funded by the council and before that rented and was in the state pension and pension credit. He has no assets at all except for about £700 in his bank account.
Just thinking ahead will me and DH need to pay for the funeral? We are happy to but will need to take out a loan so just want to be prepared now. Is there any help towards this we could get? Thanks.
