Spare week, how to make money

I have the next week off work and would like to use the time to generate some extra cash (i.e side hustle, but hate that term!). I already sell on ebay and Vinted, but looking for alternatives. Lots of time to spare and a small pot of cash to invest (open to small amount of risk). Any ideas please? Thanks!

What do you have around you? I did a couple of evenings working bar at a music festival for extra cash. I steward at football games and tend bar at weddings. Tend to pick stuff up from agencies, they advertise on indeed.

I’ve posted stuff on gumtree before (work wanted- free ad) and essentially offered myself up as an extra pair of hands. I’ve cooked, cleaned, gardened, washed windows, helped pack up a house type stuff. Normally this gets a good/ fast response especially if you price yourself cheaply. It’d probably be my go to, if you’re a hard worker then people tend to spread the word and you end up doing other bits.

Like the PP if you have any stadiums in commutable distance I would recommend stewarding work. I know it won't answer your question of what to do next week buy if you need to top up your income it's great.
Last week I worked as a poll clerk, did a 13 hour shift at a festival and a stadium event. So for 3 days work I'll be 500 better off (before tax 😪)

How do you actually get into doing the polling station stuff?

But if they can’t help try electoral services 😉

Register with a temping agency and see what they have on their books for a week.

Event staffing agencies will always take people on. Over the summer it will be lots of fun events.
