11yr old pocket money

We have an 11yr old neighbour who is saving up for a camera and wondered if we had any odd jobs. We’d like to ask him to water the garden for us when we’re away, bring in the post and cut sweet peas etc. What would you pay him per hr? TIA

£5-£6 per hour? According to google, McDonalds pay 16 year olds £8-£10 per hour, so it's roughly half of that.

My 12 year old earns £5 per hour delivering leaflets. His older sister is 15 and ears £5.88 per hour in a local cafe
