I would not recommend this at all.

I did not like Depop, and closed my account, and up until last week I loved Vinted. Until, I nearly lost my money because of a scammer. My Ralph Lauren shirt was delivered, but the scammer claimed it was not in the box but some random tat. Vinted cancelled the sale and refunded the buyer!

Long story short, I managed to get my money after I tracked the scammers Linkedin profile and they saw I had checked them out. Soon after, they admitted that they had received the shirt and told Vinted who then paid me.

I got the email about electrical and initially thought how good is that, but after my more recent experiences selling designer items, and seeing the horror stories, I would not sell or buy anything over £15.

The scammer will claim that your electrical item is either not in the box/packaging and be given a refund or they will claim it is not as described/doesn't work/broken and will be given a refund!

I have so much over the four weeks being on Vinted. I will only now sell cheaper items. Luckily, I made sure I verified my ID at the beginning of opening my account as there are numerous horror stories of people joining and the having problems verifying as they try to withdraw money. I had this problem when trying to set up a pro account as I was considering dabbling. I closed it in the end as it kept going round in circles trying to verify my ID.
