So as the tittle suggests, I love talking money 😂 and just interested in other peoples household or individual salary's and what your rough outgoings are. Even though we have a good household income I feel like we still never have lots of money left over (life is expensive) . Obviously depending on where you live will differ massively.
I'll go first....
Husband and I joint household income a month is around £4,700. He earns 60k a year and i earn around 20k (I'm just part time). We have 1 child and own a 4 bed in Edinburgh. (£380k). We bought our car outright and our monthly bills come to around £1,400 a month and on top of that we spend about £90 on food a week. Once we put money into saving/ pay retirement, days out, classes for son etc I feel like money just disappears!

Hello

That's a lot of money that just dissappears? But if you have it to spare... who am I to judge.

We are not as well off as you. Sorry can't be more specific lol.

Money doesn't last long here either. It's an expensive world and a lot of us buy things we probably don't need. Food shop for us ( family of 4) is well over £100 a week plus top ups. Feel like I'm always buying food lol.
