Pursue this maintenance claim or give up?

Would you pursue this maintenance or give up? My ex has never paid maintenance and since we split up he has been renting the rooms in his flat out for a substantial amount (enough to live on and not have to work) he lives in central London and I'm guessing now he will be getting even more for how much rent prices have increased? He told me years ago he got two grand a much but I would say now it would be closer to 3. (He lives there also) he hasn't worked in years since doing this because he told me he doesn't need to. I don't have any proof because we don't speak, I can't be the only person in this situation? I don't know whether to report it to cms or just give up and move on with life? It's unlikely anything will be done as I have no proof of it but an estimate says he should be paying just over £500 a month and right now I get zero. I've also been put off reporting it as I know it will likely cause trouble for me.
