Help - Access to Child Trust Fund? without book

ok, so all 3 of my children have child trust funds. I have one book, my ex husband has the other two of them. If, hypothetically, he refused to give me the books he has, does anyone know if I can access the accounts without the books?

I am the named parent on their accounts.
I am in a queue to ask the bank as well, but its taking forever :)

Just wondering how much of a fuss to kick up if he says no to giving them back.

Can you tell the bank the books were lost/thrown out by mistake when moving? They should re issue.

I've never had a book ( or else I lost it years ago) I have emailed them in the past to check on DS's balance, so I think you could probably deal with any admin this way too.
