Way to manage shared income between 3 people?

my siblings and I have inherited rights to a family member’s intellectual property. In future we may receive small payments relating to publishing rights etc. It will be very small amounts usually.

We are trying to work out the best way to manage this and considered setting up a joint account shared with us all but it seems this would link our credit scores.

can anyone suggest a good way to do this without it being complicated or costing a lot?

I would not open an account with siblings myself under any circumstances

Will there be tax implications - you say a small amount

How much do you trust your siblings?

Easiest way would be to just get it paid into one of your accounts and then share it out.

Can you register as a business and open an account?

I trust my siblings. We are talking hundreds rather than thousands so won’t be massive to implications. I’m a highly rate tax payer though so presumably it would be better going via someone who earns less.

how would a business account work?
