Company Disputing Chargeback Claim 5 Months Later

Brief background, I ordered a dress online in August last year and paid with my visa debit card. Dress arrived in September and was damaged and the wrong size. I immediately contacted the company who refused to accept a return for a refund. I did a chargeback with the bank and money was back in my account on 25th September last year, Never heard anything since until I receive a letter in the post today dated 27th February saying the bank has rejected my claim and the money (£85) will be redebited after 7 days (tomorrow) as the company has provided proof that they agreed to a return but I didn’t respond

I’ve triple checked my emails and have received no such request. I actually have an email from them refusing to accept a return which I had already forwarded to the bank with my initial dispute claim. The letter from the bank says under visa regulations they can’t get involved any more but from my googling it seems a company only has 45 days to respond to a dispute and we’re now 5 months down the line. Does anyone know where I stand with this?

I would re-post this in the legal section, or ask MNHQ to move it across for you
