I wonder if there are any ladies out there that might be able to help me, whose husbands worked for ICI, Du Pont or Invista. I am trying to find out how much a machine operative usually contributed to his pension per month. I have been told that over a period of 27 yrs it totaled £14,000 which works out at only £43 per month and that seems a really, really low amount for an operative to have paid/contributed into his pension pot per month.
