What happens to WFTC payments over xmas ???

I usually get paid straight into my bank on a tuesday. I have been paid on tuesday this week, but what will happen next tuesday, as it is a bank holiday ??

I wronlgy assumed it would be payed in today as that is what has happened in the past, but it hasn't been and i am now very very overdrawn and dread to think how much i am gonna be charged.

I was wondering exactly the same and I have just checked my account and it hasn't gone in, I remember last year I received 2 payments in one go. I normally get mine on a Monday, I am hoping it will be there tomorrow, I need it

it will go in tomorrow. i get a payment on a monday as well and on previous bank holidays it has always gone in on the last working day before, which is tomorrow. Likewise my dh is getting paid straight into his bank tomorrow.

shuold be in tomorrow if normally paided monday or tuesday -as tomorrow is still a normal working day.

Gosh I really hope so, my cupboards are looking a little empty, need to go buy some food

golds, give them a ring to check might be a good idea. they'll be able to look at your account and tell you exactly when it's going in. Christmas eve does seem a bit last minute doesn't it. not only that the shops'll be rammed

Does this apply to Child Benefit also? Mine is due next tuesday... anyone help?

Just phoned them - I get paid on a Monday so - I will receive it tomorrow, then next weeks will be paid on the 30th instead of 3rd Jan HTH

Ahh right well i should get my child benefit on the 3rd so at least i should get that early.

Tuesday next week is also a bank holiday according to my diary so i should get my wftc tommorow too.

Think i'm gonna get charged 75 quid for being overdrawn though so that will swallow that up sharpish.

I wish I could go and will the lottery or something, this year has been a real struggle and for me has put a damper on things. Well I have to work tomorrow, so I'm hoping that will get me in the mood a bit, if that doesn't nothing will.
