Any money making ideas for SAHM?

My DH and I are getting stressed as in a couple of weeks the Maternity money (£100 per week) I was getting will stop. That's a lot of money for us to loose.

My baby is only 4 months old so I am not ready to find a job yet. Does anyone have any ideas of some something manageable and simple that I could do at home to make just a little extra cash?

have you looked into mystery shopping, you usually get shops in your area. It's not usually much but if you do a few it adds up. I do it with grass roots. You can find them if you google it.

Take a look on www.mumandworking.co.uk they have a few ideas of things you can do from home.

Also, pop over to the Going back to Work forum - I know your question isnt about going back to work, but there are quite a few people working from home on there that might be able to help you.

taking in ironing = charge £8 an hr, put notices up in local shop, bet you'll find a few grateful customers.

What about doing competitions in magazines? The more you do the more chance you have of winning.

Lilyloo - I have just applied to grass roots to become a mystery shopper as a result of your post. Thank you for the tip!
