0% period - credit cards - question

Good afternoon. When does the 0% kick in? Is it the day of approval or the day you activate it?

I ask because I was approved on 20th December but the card hasn’t come yet (we’ve had issues with our post arriving in batches in our village, eg. a Christmas card with a cheque that was posted to me on 18th arrived yesterday)

…….so my card won’t be activated until 2nd January at the earliest.

I think you’d need to check the T&Cs or ask the credit card provider via help chat, but I’d probably assume it’s from the date of account opening.
