Hello,
I have had a message in my journal asking for 4 months of bank statements as part of my review, along with photo ID. It has to show all my incoming and outgoing information. I've asked why, but they won't respond to my question. Anyone had this, work for DWP, or know why this would be please?

Thank you.

They are checking you are still entitled to your claim. There is huge focus on spot checking claimants at the minute to check for any fraud or overpayments.

@Ilikewinter can't see an overpayment, I was sanctioned for four months for being off work with a nervous breakdown. First time in my working life. Thank you for your response, never had this happen before.

Try not to worry about it - although I appreciate thats easy for me to say!. Like I say, its a massive focus at the minute leading back to COVID times and looking for people who put in fraudulent claims.
