Childrens savings and universal credit

i put this in investments too but think this may be a better place. Sorry for the double post. I’m a grandparent and have opened savings accounts for my grandchildren. They are in my name and the childrens name. Does anyone know if these savings could affect their parents (my daughter) universal credit claim? Also do I have to think about anything else E.g. tax on interest for me ? I’ve tried looking it up but can’t find a clear answer. Thanks 😀

Children's savings are disregarded for Universal Credit. As the Mother's name is not on the accounts they're simply not an issue in this case.
