Tax credits weekly to 4 weekly

Hi, I have just phoned the IR to change my tax credits payment from weekly to 4 weekly so I can pay my rent by direct debit.

However I am now panicking that I won't get a payment for ages. Has anyone done this? or know
if they will leave me for 4 weeks without a payment? With it being the end of the tax year too god knows how it works, Do'h I should have just left it alone.

Bloke on the phone was useless too.

No I meant 4 weeks in between last weekly payment and first 4 weekly payment, obviously there will be 4 weeks between 4 weekly payments
